Who we are

The Pasta Project is a newly established non-profit organization based in Mauritius, committed to improving food security and empowering disadvantaged communities. We work in partnership with RG Pasta Ltd, a Mauritian Italian pasta manufacturer established in 2016 with experience in artisan high-end fresh and dried pasta-making. With a focus on practical, sustainable solutions, we are dedicated to creating meaningful change and fostering resilience in the communities we serve.

Shirley Parisi

Mauritian

A Mauritian entrepreneur with years of experience in hospitality and food service. She now volunteers with the homeless and disadvantaged in South Africa and has been recognized for her work with the Church Street Methodist Church soup kitchen for the homeless.

Kevinchandra Sibartie

Mauritian

A Mauritian entrepreneur with a background in business education and real estate. He has played a key role in the success of several food service and restaurant businesses in Mauritius.

Carlotta Minnella

Italian

Carlotta is a research fellow at the Migration Policy Centre, Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, funded by the EU. She has taught International Relations at Oxford University and received the EU’s Horizon Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant. Her research focuses on human rights, climate justice, and global governance.
